GENERAL JACK GREGORY (USAF RETIRED) JOINS THE ANDREWS SPACE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Seattle, WA, December 12, 2006 - General Jack Gregory (USAF Retired) joins the Andrews Space (Andrews) Board of Directors. "It has been our good fortune and privilege to have worked with General Gregory during the past several years on the Kistler K-1 program and supporting activities. His in-depth knowledge of advanced aerospace systems and operation requirements has been extremely valuable," said Jason Andrews, Andrews President.
General Gregory has held a wide range of leadership positions during his career in the United States Air Force including: Deputy Commander, United Nations Command and U.S. Forces Korea; Commander of the 7th and 12th Air Forces and Commander of the U.S. Air Force Tactical Fighter Weapons Center. General Gregory's final assignment was as Commander in Chief, Pacific Air Forces; where he had the responsibility for Air Force activities spread over half the world in a command that supports 60,000 Air Force personnel serving at 10 major locations, principally in Hawaii, the Republic of Korea, Japan and the Republic of the Philippines.

The Retired General is a command pilot with almost 8,000 flying hours mainly in tactical fighter aircraft. His military decorations and awards include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, Distinguished Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Legion of Merit with oak leaf cluster, Distinguished Flying Cross with two oak leaf clusters, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, Air Medal with 13 oak leaf clusters, and Air Force Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster.
